Cellophane hair treatment can be two different things. The first
is like a conditioning treatment, to make your hair softer. It
takes about between 20-60 mins depending on how long they leave
the treatment on your hair. And no, I don't think it would look
odd only because all it does is make your hair softer and more
manageble. The other is a nice alternative to permanent color,
and it adds moisture to your hair. It will take around an hour
or so depending on your stylist. But unlike other permanent
colors, cellophane color treatment will naturally wash out of
your hair within eight weeks. I also don't think this would be
odd since most guys do color their hair anymore and this doesn't
last as long as permanent colors.

By now you've heard of it. Japanese Hair Straightening, Ionic
Retexturizing, Thermal Reconditioning, Rebonding, Thermal
Reconstruction, Thermal Straightening, Thio'd, and Oxygenation
Perm. It has many names but they all mean the same
thing-chemical straightening. The buzz is everywhere and clients
have heard it's like magic; taking frizzy, unmanageable hair and
making it soft and silky. The chemical service that originated
in Japan about six to nine years ago (manufacturer sources
differ) can be a dream come true for some women, but it can also
be their worst nightmare-and yours-if done incorrectly. Lack of
education, inexperience, or a botched consultation can bring
about dangerous results. On the other hand, an educated,
experienced, honest stylist can perform miracles that can change
the lives of her clients.
THE BASICS
So, what really is thermal reconditioning? It's a chemical hair
straightening process developed for women who wanted to get rid
of their wavy hair. The process changed thick, wavy, coarse hair
to shiny, polished locks. The best results were always on virgin
hair (no previous chemicals: color, perming, straightening) and
the longest-lasting results to a year without re-growth touch
ups-were on hair that didn't have a lot of curl at the root.
Three companies brought it to America within the past three
years (and now Rusk has also launched its own product, Thermal
Str8), which means a whole new audience of clients can have
straight hair.
Hot oil treatment is used to give hair moisture as it gives the
look of conditioned hair without having to condition every day.
If you have damaged or dry hair as a result of such thins as
coloring, blow-drying, straightening, or other styling factors,
than a hot oil treatment for hair may be good for your hair. It
most often makes hair look more healthy.
How it Works
Generally with a hot oil treatment for hair, they are used once
a week. The bottle of oil is heated by putting the bottle in hot
water for an extended period of time. The conditioning treatment
of the hair gives more strength and body to the hair. The hot
oil can help repair damaged and weak hair as every strand gets
the treatment it needs instantly when the oil is applied.
How to Use it
After heating the tube of oil in the water, generally for a
minute or so, you can message the hot oil treatment into your
wet hair. Massage all the oil thoroughly in the hair so that all
the hair will be able to be exposed to the hot oil. Many times
people that use hot oil treatments do not make sure that all
their hair is exposed and this can cause weakness to those areas
of the hair. After this is done, you can rinse the hair and the
scalp thoroughly under the running water. After the hot oil
treatment is done processing, shampoo your hair as you regularly
do. You can use the hot oil treatment once or week or as often
as needed.
Types of Hot Oil Treatments
There are many products available on the market for hot oil
treatments. They can also be purchased as oils and then heated
and used in the hair. Generally natural essential oils are the
best ones to use in hot oil treatments as they can do the best
to damage dry and weak hair. Many other types of oils are too
big, as smaller oils are needed so that they will be able to
penetrate the shaft of the hair. The larger oils do not
penetrate the hair and actually cause buildup, which can only
lead to more dry and damaged hair. Some of the more natural oils
that are popular for hot oil treatments are olive oil, jasmine
oil, and jojoba oil.
Using eyebrow wax is a faster, easier alternative to plucking or
tweezing unwanted eyebrow hair for that perfect shape. Knowing
how to properly use the wax, however, is the key to a great look
without unnecessary hassle.
About Eyebrow Waxing
Waxing eyebrows is a longer-lasting method of shaping brows than
tweezing or threading, but the biggest detriment is the pain.
Rather than pulling out one stray hair at a time, nearly every
hair is removed at once, a process that also strips the
uppermost layer of skin cells and can be extremely painful,
